2018 - 2019 Season Highlights!!

It has been a busy summer so far! I finished playing Charlie in Three Decembers with Painted Sky Opera, went to my cousin's wedding in Bali, visited family in Singapore, attended the NATS Intern program in Boulder, CO, sang St. Paul in Mendelssohn's St. Paul with the Berkeley Community Chorus and Orchestra, sang at the 2018 NFMC National Conference, sang an NFMC concert in Chautauqua, NY, and attended the CCM Institute at Shenandoah University. My singing and teaching have been opened up to new worlds of sound and intention.

Upcoming season highlights include many more concerts for NFMC (in Louisiana, Ohio, Arkansas, Mississippi), singing my dream role of Eugene Onegin at LSU in the fall, singing Young Priest in Rosanna, in Weill Hall in Carnegie Hall with DCINY, Bass soloist in Messiah with the Eastern Shore Choral Society and the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, Bass soloist in The Spectre's Bride with the Berkeley Community Chorus and Orchestra, Sam in Trouble in Tahiti with Painted Sky Opera, Count Gil in Il segreto di Susanna with Mobile Opera, Baritone soloist in Carmina Burana with Canterbury Voices, Schaunard in La bohème with Mississippi Opera and the Natchez Festival of Music, and Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance with the Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre.

It's an exciting time, and as I gear up for Year 2 of my DMA at LSU, I am ready for new challenges and continuing to sing and teach in a way that will hopefully make a difference!
